I have already written about the Wind Turbine I am working on. Now I would like to tell you about solar panels. Over the years I have collected 20 solar panels and I got them all for free. How did I do that you ask? Here's the thing-in our area you cannot rely upon just one source of alternative energy. For many years people thought they could just buy solar panels and they would never have a electric or heat bill again. That's just WRONG!!!! You get energy with solar by the SUN shining DUH. When the solar panels did not perform like expected, people started throwing them away. I would find these things along side the road, for free in the newspaper, on freecycle.com and by word of mouth.
You would be hard pressed to find free solar panels now. This is a hot commodity right now. But never fear you can build your own solar items.
